Lost and Found

Visitors to London leave more than digital traces on the city. They leave physical traces too – tens of thousands of them. In 2013 alone, the lost property office at Heathrow Airport logged 34,000 items, including violins, rings, stuffed animals, cars, a kayak, a Rottweiler and a phonograph. You have to wonder how 100 travellers got far without their walking sticks.
